Shawn Michael Patrician

Shawn Michael Patrician of Nashville, TN passed away suddenly on December 23rd, 2023. Shawn was born on December 9th, 1992 in Boston, Massachusetts to Kelly Spencer Welsh and the late Donald Patrician, Jr. Spending his childhood in South Boston, he had a deep love for his Irish Boston roots. The family relocated to Palm Harbor, FL in 1999.

Shawn attended Tarpon Springs High School and graduated from Palm Harbor University High School in 2011. He was recently enrolled in Pre-Law at Nashville State Community College.

In 2019, Shawn moved to Nashville, TN, and found his career path as an Apprentice Plumber/ Pipefitter at U.A. Local 572 Plumbers and Pipefitters. It was in Nashville where he found the love of his life in his partner Jenny Valentine. The two welcomed their son Vincent Donald Patrician on October 25, 2023. Shawn’s memory will live on through the son he adored so much.

Shawn was a deep thinker with a brilliant mind. He was an avid reader and had many interests, including science, religion and philosophy. A loyal fan of the New England Patriots and University of Miami Hurricanes, he kept a photographic memory of sports statistics since childhood. He deeply loved his family and prioritized his relationships with them. He will be remembered for his kindness, generous spirit, love for his family and considerate nature.

He is survived by partner Jenny Valentine and infant son Vincent Donald Patrician of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by his loving mother Kelly Spencer Welsh, sister Erin Patrician and stepfather John Welsh of Palm Harbor, FL, along with maternal grandmother Anne Spencer of Dunedin, FL paternal grandfather Donald Patrician, Sr. of Lady Lake, FL. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Virginia M. (Lenane) Patrician and maternal grandfather Charles L. Spencer, Jr. Shawn is deeply loved and remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed.
