James Jones Sr

James Larry Jones Sr., age 59 of Nolensville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at home. He was a construction worker up until a heart attack in 2012 caused him to become disabled and ineligible to work.Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Frances Bivens Jones and Calvin Marvin Jones; his sister, Sara Frances Jones Goodwin. He is survived by wife, Debbie Chaffin Jones of Nolensville; step-son, Steven Chaffin of Concord, New Hampshire; son, James Jones Jr. of Nolensville; daughters, Melissa Jones and Sarah Jones of Nolensville; brothers, Hugh (Brenda) Jones of Eagleville, Randy (Jean) Jones of Murfreesboro, and Mike Jones of Shelbyville; one step-grand-child.Mr. Jones will be cremated at TriStar Cremation. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 1pm at his best friend's home. He loved football (Alabama was his favorite team), wrestling, and NASCAR. His favorite color was blue and his favorite drink was Dr. Pepper. He was a good, hardworking man who loved to have fun, laugh and help others.
