Edie was our first child. She was born on October 6, 2002. She passed away on February 29, 2024.
Edie was a bright, shining soul. She had the most magnificent blue eyes and an infectious smile. She lit up any room she walked into. She loved her family fiercely, and would have done anything we asked of her at any time, day or night. She wanted everyone she loved to be happy, and did everything she could to make that happen. She was loyal in every sense of the word. Edie was extraordinarily gifted academically, specifically with geography, foreign languages, and history. She could identify any country's world flag, knew the capital city of that country and its location.
One of Edie's greatest passions was traveling. She was grateful to have visited most of the continental United States and many countries in Europe. Her next adventure was going to be Ireland. She was patriotic. She loved Christmas. She was fun, silly, and quirky. She loved practical jokes. She was a dedicated, hard worker who loved her job and co-workers at Publix.
Edie was dealt a difficult hand, with the combination of high functioning Autism, exceptional intelligence, depression, and anxiety.
Edie is survived by her mother, Stephanie Lee, her father, Bobby Lee, and her sister, Maggie Lee, all of Hendersonville TN. Her maternal grandfather, Michael Hamm, and maternal grandmother, Judy Hamm, both of Gallatin, TN. Her paternal grandfather, Bobby Lee, Sr. of Madison, TN.
